Still Life
Ira Koers

I went to the zoo and came across a space where vegetation was gawking at me. Without blinking. Plants had pushed themselves against the fence to see better. In another room the wall was painted by mosses and algae and the floor was spacially modeled. One space had bicoloured scrubs and a sleeping beauty in bedbox that did not stir at all. A lot to unravel and imagine. I wondered who else live there, do zoo animals hibernate and what would an – partly or temporarily – uninhabited zoo be like?
